FS9 memory problem

Featured Replies

Hi all,Occasionally when I try to start FS9 I get the followih error message: 'Your computer does not have enough memory available to run flight simulator. The program will now quit'.That is odd considering there is 2 Gb of memory avail and nothing else of consequence running.Anyone know how I can overcome this?ThanksSteve

Cheers

Could be also a corrupt fs9.cfg, an incompatible virus scanner or some weirdness with the chipset drivers.I'd first try to delete fs9.cfg (it is like Aspirin for FS9, helps in 90% of the cases), shut down all other unneeded programs (although I doubt this might help), disable any real-time virus scanner and reinstall your chipset drivers (for eventual memory controller issues). As a last resort, I would just plain suggest to re-install FS9.Good luck!
