I have had many flights in fs2002 where not using pitot heat in the clouds has caused my airspeed indicator to stop working-so yes I think fs clouds cause pitot icing.http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.jpg

I am not sure as I always leave my pitot heat on. But there is an option in FSUIPC called "add random icing in clouds".Alex
