Vista & New Rig& Support ????

Featured Replies

While I am awaiting my new rig parts to come in I was going to just install Vista Beta 2 as my OS.Will there be issues with drivers and such for the mobo and gfx ??Or should I just go with the true and tried XPSP2...CPU INTEL|CORE 2 E6600 2.4G 775 MB INTEL BOXD975XBXLKR 975X 775 ThanksAndy

First off, if it has to be Vista you should go with the latest RC1 which was just released. You can get it plus an activation key (if you don't have one already) on Microsoft's Vista site.Regards,http://www.bremmekamp.com/img/misc/avsim.jpg

The word "BETA" should suffice in making that decision. I second Allcott, use XP until Vista is released as finished product.

If you act fast you can get build 5728 either X86 or X64, but they will probably take it down today. RC1 (5600) may still be out there. But be advised graphics drivers are still a little spotty.scott s..
