September 29, 200619 yr While I own and enjoy the CH Yoke and pedals, I also own the Saitek X52 joystick and throttle set. Some of the newer large Airbus jets are implementing a lefthand joystick and right hand throttle for the left seat (the opposite, it seems, from the HOTAS arrangement that modern fighter pilots use). I have tried this with the Saitek and it feels unnatural. Have other FS9 users tried this lefthanded joystick arrangement?Brian
September 29, 200619 yr Hi Brian,I use the following when flying the 'Bus:http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products...,CONTENTID=6953I have CH Yoke, Pedals and a MS Force Feedback 2. I had the same problem with the FF2 - it is made for the right hand. I find the Logitech excellent as it is a strong spring (similar to Airbus). One down side is that it doesn't have a point of view hat. It was the only one I could find that is not moulded for right hand though.Hope this helps,AndyEdit: PS The left handed flying took a while to get used to - which is kinda weird because I use my left hand on the yoke, with right hand on throttle! Must have been psychological lol.
September 29, 200619 yr Brian,I had a joystick before the CH Yoke. I used to use the Saitek 'Cyborg Evo' joystick so as I could simulate the left hand joystick on the Airbusses. It' is interchangable for left or right hand use. Dave Taylor
