The falcon machine Price as tested $7,995And :(For $20,000 you could find an old Cessna 150 and you could get the ultimate resolution and no stutters...unless you are flying on a gusty day.:)Manny

So even the Ultimate isn't enough for FSX? I think that should finally shut the a really excited user up, the ones for whom 15fps is `all you need`.As I said in another thread, clearly it isn't. When you turn down the settings to get a solid 30fps the flight dynamics engine is so uch better, the way the aircraft feels in the virtual atmosphere so much more realistic, that it is obvious the sim is intended for the same 25-30fos as previous versions, and this `15fps is smooth` was nothign more than a smokescreen from MS when they realised the performance was crocked. It may be smooth, but it sure ain't what the game is designed for. But at 30 fps it really does deliver much better immersion, if you can get past the absence of autogen! Allcott

True, and also the scale of the task facing the ACES team for the first patch. Anyone believe they can double frame rates without changing the level of detail, thereby undercutting the supposed advantage of FSX over FS9? They're between a rock and a hard place.Allcott
