January 1, 200719 yr Hi guys,I just got a 120GB HD, which has absolutely nothing on it (its formatted.) My XP is on my other hd, an 80GB one, and when I try installing FSX, i select the new HD and it says I cannot install into the root of a new HD. What should I do?Cheers,Tim
January 1, 200719 yr Tim,You should be able to install FSX on that drive. I installed FSX on a second HD with no problem. It happens to be a 120 gig also and was freshly formatted and empty when I did the install.Al
January 1, 200719 yr Hi Tim,Open Computer Management and under Disk Management, look and see if the new drive is recognized or if it needs to be formatted. I know you said it was but check there anyway. It may need to have the partition marked as active. If you can't see the drive, you may need to set the jumpers on the back of the drive. Look at the instructions that came with the drvice.Regards,Jim Karn
January 3, 200719 yr Try creating a file and naming it (Programs) then choose that to load |FSX into!
