Problem with axis assignment

Featured Replies

For some strange reason I am unable to assign the mixtures to a lever on my CHTQ. This was not a problem before, since the mixture lever still works on the RealAir Spitfire. Now I am unable to assign it to any lever on any other aircraft. It shows up fine in the calibration and it shows to be operating correctly. But in the sim there is no response. Also tried FSUIPC and receive the same results. The throttles and the prop levers will work fine as they do in the FS9 assignment page, but not the mixture. And I have checked all the settings, sensitivities, double assignments, etc. I am baffeled. In trying to assign it through FSUIPC, the assigment page shows the lever responding, but when I go to the calibration page there is no response, dead, nothing. Any ideas???????Sure appreciate the help!Jim

Jim,I also had problems with the CH Throttle Quadrant, but my rescue was the 'FSUIPC Guide for CH Users' found on Peter Dowson's support forum.http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...d3d980998873295I made sure that all axis assignments where turned OFF in FSX and then made all assignments thru FSUIPC. The axis assignment page in the FSUIPC page isn't too user friendly, so pay attention to the instructions in the guide and you'll be awarded.Ulf B :-)

Thanks Ulf, but I've done that. In fact, I too was making all my assignments in FSUIPC and everything was just dandy. Now, even in FSUIPC, as I noted in the original post, assigning the mixture doesn't have any effect. I can assign the axis I normally use for mixture control to another function, such as 'flaps' and it works perfectly. Trying to assign it to 'mixture' again results in the same problem, no effect.
