April 5, 200719 yr I run a very similar set up: 3 projectors on a TH2Go and 2 monitors from a second graphics card. However, I have to run it in Windowed mode.RegardsJim
April 6, 200719 yr Hello JohnBit like Jim. On one card I use the TH2G on one port and a main instrument panel on the second. On card no. 2 I run an overhead and a secondary instrument panel. I also use Wideview to provide a further view. All this is in windowed mode, however. This is fine in FS9 but at the moment in FSX, when I load a saved flight, apart from the o'head which is positioned OK, the rest of the panels are all over the place and need to be re-sited. I need to think some more on this.Still getting to grips with the TH2G - I've maybe got it set up all wrong, but from what I can see the view on the three TH2G monitors is not a true left/main/right, but rather what would be a main outside view stretched across the three mons. Bud
April 6, 200719 yr Author Thanks Bud & Jim! However, How do you get it to stay in the Windows mode? When ever the TH2Go goes into the three screen mode, it changes the external monitors. Can you run FS9 three monitors spread in a windowed mode? I lose the panels on them. I never have the top menu bar, unless I hit ATL. Even then there is no Exit X.Bud, TH2Go is giving you a stretched version of out the window. That is how it operates. It just widens it to some 3000 pixels. JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. April 6, 200719 yr Hello JohnI'm not sure I quite follow you. I open up in Window mode and just stay there. I have just the external view on my TH2G monitors, the instrument panel, overhead and sec. inst panel are all on different monitors. The top menu bar appears in the external views and the exit x is top right on the right monitor.Maybe Jim, who has the experience can help. Possibly the views are not snapping as they should to your monitors.I have to say that I find the TH2G a little short on explanation and instruction. I'm still trying to get the best out of it more or less by trial and error. For example, on their web site, I'm sure I remember seeing an illustration of what could be achieved in FS9, represented by a Cessna which appeared to display the upper left, main and upper right views on the three monitors. There may be a way of doing this but I'm darned if I can find it.Bud
April 8, 200719 yr Author They use to have a forum, Bud. However, I think they closed it? I can't find it anymore. JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. April 9, 200719 yr Hello JohnYou're right, there used to be a forum, now defunct. Bad job really 'cos it seems next to impossible to get technical help from the Matrox site. Unfortunately I've had a bad HD crash so further experimentation will have to wait until I get my main system up and running again. In the meanwhile I've done some researching thro' previous posts about the TH2G. Not too much new, but there was one post which seemed to be suggesting that it was possible to open up three views on the main monitor which, when stretched with the TH2G and adjusted, provided discretely those views on the left, centre and right monitors. Have to say I was a bit doubtful about that. I've no idea how that can be done, but it is something I'll look at when, fingers crossed, I get my system back in working order.Bud
April 9, 200719 yr Author Good luck on getting your system back up. It really sucks when they crash. If you haven't tried it already, you might want to look into the Track IR4. It takes some fiddling with the response rate and smoothing to get it right but, once you do it works well. Combining it with the three screens from the Th2Go and it is as close to the real thing I have seen. JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. April 11, 200719 yr Hello JohnAfter some hours, managed to fix my system prob. It wasn't, as I first thought, a corrupt boot sector, actually makes me wonder how often this sort of problem is put down to hard drives and leads to reinstallaion.Good point about Track IR tho' I did try this out some while ago - Track IR 3 I think it was. Just couldn't seem to get on with it but the latest one might be better. At the moment, I'm going to persevere with the 3 TH2G views plus one other view on another machine provided via WideView. I've been using WV for years, but I have to say I'm having a little trouble getting this fourth view to line up perfectly. What I'd really like is for the guy who came up with the idea of three view on the main monitor to tell us how he did it!Bud
