April 9, 200719 yr I have started to get display problems someone described as memory leakeage in FS9. It happens after the sim has been running for 60mins + and I begin to lose textures as a sort of flashing from normal to no details etc., in all views. See my specs below.Any advice appreciated, do I need 2gigs RAM? Dave Taylor
April 14, 200719 yr Well, is this a brand new issue for you? Does it occur with specific a/c only or with all a/c in FS9?I have a DELL XPS Gen 4 with 2GB RAM but I have one sophisticated add-on that wrecks the RAM and leaks memory incessantly. It's the only offender. I don't fly it much as a result. Is it similar with you or is it a "systemic" issue with FS9 on your PC? What does the Windows Task Manager tell you about RAM usage?JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
