January 18, 200323 yr Almost every available driver i tried but although i had a 3 dimensional view, the double vision never really dissapeared. Thats why i never came to use the glasses and put them away, before i get serious eye damage from them. Especially at night looking at the gauges i became dizzled from that view. But, tell me, is that the best you get with these glasses?
January 20, 200323 yr Hi there, Koyaan.I, too, had the same problem(s); not really double-vision, but slightly-ghosted images, depending on the game.As for eye damage, I returned my glasses for the exact same reason; they were starting to get on my nerves... optic nerves, that is.Besides, they did not work on a lot of games, especially Links 2001; the depth perception was way off; furthermore, even the slightest adjustment in the 'stereo' levels, and the player & the swing gauge, would appear at different parts of the screen; e.g., if you moved the swing gauge, you would see after images (trails) from its original position.A lot of other games did not work at all; Jet Fighter IV, to name one; therefore, I did not think the 'sacrifice' was worth making just a few games look ok (despite the strain on the eyes), while not making others work at all.Tell me... if/when you removed all the eDiminsional & required Nvidia drivers, did everything go back to normal? I am having the damnest time, trying to get the anti-alias back to the way it used to be in FS2002; even after going back to my video card default drivers (from cd), it has never worked. I don't feel like messing with the registry(ies), so I might have to totally reformat my hd, and have everything re-installed, as original.Glad I got my refund from eDiminsional (- the lousy 15% restocking fee) - lol.Good luck!Stanley
January 20, 200323 yr I got my glasses about Thanksgiving. Wonder if I could still get my money back. I could never get them to work right with FS2k2. Installed most of the drivers that was suggested and had to restore my sys about 5 times after trying the get glasses to work. They are in the box now...........FOX
January 20, 200323 yr I seem to be one of the lucky ones. I switched off the computer, connected the hardware, threw the software (2 CD's) in the rubbish bin, switched the computer on again, and the stuff worked. Only needed a bit of adjusting, and that was all. I consider myself very fortunate, reading the woes that other people have. I never encountered anything of the kind, and flying without the glasses has lost all of its previous luster. I really hope some solutions will be found for the problems other people have, for when they work, the eDimensional glasses are GREAT!Jaap Verduijn.
