April 23, 200719 yr Greetings all!If you happen to be among those who can't get AA to work with their Geforce 8600/8800 video card in combination with the 158.* drivers, by accident I stumbled upon the solution: set the value in Nvidia control panel AND enable anti-aliasing in the sim.I know, this goes against everything our parents tought us (grin!), but it WORKS.Be well!Jaap Verduijn.

FSX or FS9?AA does not work in FS9 with that driver...even if you enable AA in the sim. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
April 23, 200719 yr I refer to FS9, which I use the most. And sure, my "trick" works, I can repeat it as often as I want: AA in FS9 "of" means big bad jaggies, turning it "on" means no jaggies at all, really NONE at all. There may be more to it than meets the eye, though: it might work only for the high upper settings like 16x. Also, like unfortunately every good thing in whatever edition of MSFS, it's quite likely "rig dependent" as well.Anyway, for me it works (it made all the difference in the world!), and it's definitely worth a try for others: it might work for them too.Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
