Saitek Rudder pedals brake's act backwards

Featured Replies

I bought these rudder pedals and set them up in FS 2004. They seem to work fine for rudder and ailerons, but with the pedals in resting position, namely up, the brakes are full on. The only way to release the brakes is to depress them fully, the exact opposite of what they are supposed to do. Saitek support says there is nothing wrong with them but to use reverse on the axis assignment.Have others had this problem? I want to make sure they were not miswired or something.Greg

It is a known thingie. Reverse the axes, and (if memory serves)...set the nullzone for the brakes to minimum.

Ok Good.Thanks!

Its deliberately done that way so that the pedal axis can be doubled-up as accelerator pedal in car racing games where push = more.Allcott
