ATI Catalyst settings for FS9/FSX?

Featured Replies

What settings should ATI Catalyst control for FS9 and FSX?And which should be controlled by the SIM?In other words.Turn this on in Catalyst turn it off in the sim.I cannot seem to "get it right" on which is the proper setup! My first thought is the video card should be controlling all settings.Basically because I do not understand how the SIM could tell the card what to do.

I can't speak for all the settings but the following seems to be good advice:AA - Off in FSX/On in CatalystCatalyst AI - DisabledI run my Cat AA at 4x and AF at 8x. Still massaging the settings with the new drivers but all seems pretty good for me so far. Overclocking is a different story: I still can't get the 3d clocks to activate with FSX.
