Mobo choice

Hi all, I'm in the process of a new system build over the course of the next few months. Already have the case: LianLi PC65B and have pretty much settled on the Corsair CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX ATX12V v2.2 Power Supply. I won't be running SLI. I'm currently considering the following Mobo's: ASUS P5K LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX and GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 I do have a budget which these boards fit in nicely and the both support the P35 chipset as well as the upcoming 65nm processors. If anyone has any experience with either of these boards I'd appreciate any comments. Thanks, Craig ASUS A8N- nForce SLI Chipset SATA RAID Dual PCIe MOBOAMD ATHLON64 3500+ CPU w/ HT TechLG GWA-4161 DVD/CDSeagate ST3160811AS 160GB Barracuda 9 7200RPM 8MB SATA II 3Gb/s NCQSeagate ST3160811AS 250GB Barracuda 9 7200RPM 8MB SATA II 3Gb/s NCQEVGA 7950 GT KO PCIe 512mb nvodngov19147-[Guru3D.com] drivers SB Audigy 22G Corsair PC 3200 400MHZ Dual Channel DDR Aspire 500W P/STrack IR3 w/vectorCH Yolk & RuddersFS Genesis Terrain MeshFS Genesis Land ClassActive SkyRC4

I am running Raid 0 (striped) using 2- 200 Gig SATA2 drives and also runnign the 8800 GTX (dual height). I have had to reset the CMOS a few times after the board reboots over and over at startup. To do this you have to remove the video card to reach the jumper. Really bad placement IMHO. There is also only one PATA IDE channel on the board. The PRO's have been that this board is an overclockers dream with 6 total SATA drive slots (4 using GRAID and 2 using Intel RAID) which has made adding disk space truly easy. It has been a great system aside from the mentioned issue...Good Luck...MonteGA-965-DS3 2 gig Corsair MEM2X200Gig SATA 2 Drives running RAID 0 (400 Gig total)EVGA 8800 GTX Video Card...

I did read bout the bios reset in oneof the reviews. I intend to use only the SATA ports and I do need IDEfor a floppy in the future one will suffice. Can you tell me what model corsair mem you are using? Thanks again for the info.Craig>

2 matched 1 gig sticks 6400C3DF.A little more but worth the price in my opinion.MK

I built two systems with the DFI Infinity 975X/G and they are running great. I've overclocked my E6600 to 3.34 GHz (370 FSB) which works very nicely for FSX (the other I built for a friend who runs it unoverclocked). I'm using Kingston HyperX 800 MHz memory at 5/5/5/16 timing at 533 divider (742 MHz). Unoverclocked the memory usually runs at 4/4/4/12. The only cooling I have so far is a Zalman 9700 in an ABS Nighthawk case with 2 120mm fans (1 each front and back). I'm going to add a fan to the Northbridge chip, though; it gets hotter than I'd like and has only a passive heatsink.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180
