HiShould be a good system for FS9, though a little stretched forFSX. You have a single processor at 2.2 Ghz, and this is probablythe weakest link in your system. The mother board allows supportfor a dual PCI-express card (you have one) and so you have highband width to your good graphics card. Looking at the motherboard review I see the FSB speed is rated just above 400Mhz - thisseams a little slow to me , though you can fit memory up to 800Mhzwhich is good. FSB tuning from 200MHz up to 400MHz at 1MHz increment Memory tuning from 400MHz up to 800MHz at 1MHz increment I would recommend you put FS9/X on the raptor - and the OS on theWD. You could struggle on the size of the raptor as I use a 80G andthis is more than half full - but then I have a mesh for the wholeworld. This would give you fast access to scenery, and no interference from the OS, and no fragmentation for FS.You have lots of memory, though I did not see the speed of this (before deleting this browser window tab with your signature). Keep an image of your computer on the external drive Just my 2p worth - just go and fly and enjoy.Tom

I agree it's a fine FS9 rig and still entirely usable for FSX. The INTC 3.7ghz (ahhh, AMD 2.2 ghz) CPU and the 6800 are a perfect match. 2 gigs-O-ram. That's gold. Don't touch a thing. Nothing is worth upgrading. You'll be fine 'till you're ready for the next whole-box upgrade.

That's kinda what I figured... heheI got into OCing some but after a month of settings and pulling out my hair I reverted back to stock settings, Orthos kept failing. I'm confident that my CPU just doesn't like to be OCed....something with the Revision...Yeah, by the time my wife let's me get an upgrade, we'll have A6800E's (8 cores lol) and geforce 9900's...
