August 15, 200718 yr I've seen barely anything on this combo- an image of a single sell sheet and the gogamer page and a tiny bit on www.saitekusa.com. That's it.The yoke of course looks cool, but that's all the info I have right now. As we know, looks mean little in the long run! There's some add on modules too that I can find zero info on right now, don't know what they do, bu they're designed to work with the yoke. The yoke does have a stopwatch for timing your approaches :)Thanks
August 15, 200718 yr They are not released yet, the yoke is out first, next month I think? and the LCD cockpit stuff is scheduled for early next year.I'm cautiously optimistic this stuff will be good, but will watch out for the reviews.
August 15, 200718 yr Several vendors are stating the "official" release date as August 30, so we shouldn't have long to wait. I hope AVSIM is first in line to do a review of the new yoke/throttle beast. :-D Pricing seems fairly reasonable. The lowest I've seen so far is about $125. If the reviews are positive, I think Saitek could have quite a hit on their hands with this product. Perhaps it will have the added benefit of jolting CH Products into a bit more innovation, after having dominated the yoke/throttle market for several years now with essentially the same lineup.
August 16, 200718 yr as soon as it can be ordered, i will have one. :) I will be glad to post a review, and be the guinea pig...I love the saitek pro rudder pedals and cannot imagine the quality being any different with the yoke.danon -
August 16, 200718 yr Well ... If the Saitek Yoke is good, I'll grab a set of their rudders too, these TM RCS pedals (the original gold ones)are about 14 years old now!
August 17, 200718 yr The yoke looks neat in that it comes with the separate throttle quadrant, but that's literally all I know about it.Like I said, info is sparse.
