October 11, 200718 yr Hello,Currently I have a C2D6000, P5B Mobo,ATI 1900XT and 2 GIG of DDR2-667Ram. My question is would upgrading the ram from DDR-667 to DDDR2-800yield any kind of performance gain. My local computer store has a saleon OCZ DDR2-800 2 Gig with discounts for about $60. My current ram is Kingston.Never used OCZ before. Thanks,Helmut My System: Intel 9700K 4.7Gz, ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200MHZ, Evga 3070TI 8GB, Noctua NH-D15S, Gigabyte 27" Monitor, Windows 10 64bit, 2xSamsung 500GB SSD, 1x Samsung 120GB, 1x Samsung 970, 1TB, 1TB H/D for Storage. October 11, 200718 yr Only in memory benchmarks. In fact you can probably just go into your bios and set the current ram to run at 800 most ram over clocks, but you will not see any difference with FS9 or FSX. For that you need a faster CPU. Processor: Intel Core i7 [email protected] Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX670 OC RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3-1866 [9-9-9-24-2T] Motherboard: Asus P8Z68 Pro / Gen 3 Best Ever FSX Tip: Adaptive Vertical Sync 1/2 Refresh Rate
October 12, 200718 yr Only if you experience stutters which is a bandwidth problem. InFS9 - probably no advantage.
