November 1, 200718 yr I'm getting a Dell 22inch as a gift and here are my pc specs:AMD 3000+ (2.46GHZ)2 GB G. SKILL RAMNVIDIA 7800GSI'm thinking my pc may be struggling to run such a graphically intense game at the monitors native resolution of 1680x1080..if i run my games at the usual 1024x768 will it look crappy on a widescreen monitor? I've got FSX running pretty well for my tastes..just want it to look great on this new monitor i'm gettingany ideas?
November 1, 200718 yr It won't be that much worse at full res, especially with a 7800 powering the graphics show, so I'd just suck it and see when you get it. November 2, 200718 yr Don't worry. You will be fine. Don't even think about reducing the res to a non-native setting. 1024x768 will be imperfgect and slightly disappointing--and unnecessary! You will be happy with the DELL 22" at full native resolution with your more than adequate system.
