November 16, 200718 yr I had one of those slide under keyboards that did not work with the new saitek yoke so-I removed the drawer-took the top 6 screws out of the saitek and put some longer ones on to hold it under the desk. Now the keyboard works great on the desk-wires are out of the way, and the yoke is actually situated more the correct height it is on the real plane-and it looks good!Last thing for me is a goflight trim/gear/flap box that will go just to the right of the yoke-as close to a Baron as I can get for a fraction of the cost! :-)http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpgForum Moderatorhttp://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/180653.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/180654.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
November 17, 200718 yr That worked out quite nicely.I have my eyes on the saitek yoke and pedals. Problably an extra quad too.I currently have an x52 and ch pedals, but to be honest I never really liked the ch pedals.
November 17, 200718 yr Author I am thinking about the pedals too. I have the ch-but they are spongy and the brakes are always going on.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpgForum Moderatorhttp://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/ Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
November 17, 200718 yr Geofa, If you get the Saitek' Pedals don't forget to set the 'Null' zones to zero or you will get the brakes message with those too. ;-)BTW your setup looks very nice and compact, well done.:-) Dave Taylor
November 17, 200718 yr Author Thanks-it never thought of doing that-I'll give it a try with my ch pedals and see if I can get rid of that annoyance!Thanks-I am enjoying my setup hugely! When I think of how I have nickel and dimed myself over the years-for not a lot of $$$ I have increased the realism hugely.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpgForum ModeratorMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/ Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
November 18, 200718 yr My system is down 'till wednesday, but what I did was set a deadzone of 6 or 10 units in the ch config manager and it solved that toe break problem.
