November 30, 200718 yr Where do I go to get to the setting if I want to overclock my video cards. I have NAVIDIA.Tim
November 30, 200718 yr I find that the best tool to use is, believe it or not, ATI Tool from http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/, as it works with both ATI and nVidia cards. Just install it, run it, then click on Find Max Core and watch the program do the rest. Let this run until you have had at least 30 mins of no errors. Note the stable core frequency achievedThen Click on Find Max Mem (agree to let it reset your core frequency), and find and note your stable max memory speed as above. Finally, manually set the core and memory speed to the max stable values you recorded, then click on Scan for Artifacts and let that run for 30 mins or so. If any errors are detected in this final run, reduce both your core and memory speed by 5MHz and repeat the Scan for Artifacts test again. Once you are happy that you have stable settings, you can save them to a profile in ATI Tool and load them up whenever you want them. One final note, you will not get much, if any, of a performance boost overclocking video cards with FS9/FSX, but you may as well run your video card at its full potential.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

December 1, 200718 yr Gary. is it wise to install NHANCER before I do what you said or is there no point?:-)
December 1, 200718 yr Gary. I installed the tool had it running then a msge come up "Could not open log file for writting"
December 1, 200718 yr Sorry for all the trouble Gary. Got that fixed. Now....when I click on find max core after 20 seconds it says heating up then the abort comes up.Suggestions. That download you gave me vever worked so I googled it and downloaded it. Said it was for overclocking ATI & Navidia video cards.Plse reply. Thanks
December 1, 200718 yr Tim,I have never had any trouble with using ATI Tool like that. Perhaps it doesn't work with 2 cards in SLI. In all honesty, you should have plenty of GPU power without overclocking for just about any game out there. If you still want to try, check out the ATI Tool forums or just google nVidia SLI overclocking.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
December 1, 200718 yr Google nTune. It's an NVIDIA overclocking utility made BY NVIDIA. But I heard it can be unstable with Vista.
