January 28, 200818 yr Just in the midst of putting together a new machine, and am plagued by this innane lack of AA in FS9. This is a resinstall of FS9 in a new install of XP Pro. Latest nV drivers on board. No AA happening. I am running DX9.0c is all. Any other clues to restoring what worked wonderfully on my x1950Pro AGP? About the pull my hair between a brand new SATA drive that won't show up in XP, to now this silly issue. I know others have had this AA issue, but the nHancer fix no longer works. OK, what drivers DO work with nHancer? With FS9 to support AA?Thanks,Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. January 28, 200818 yr Author Thanks Word Not Allowed, I just got it figured out. You can't delete the profiles nV set up, but you CAN disable them, by creating a duplicate. So, for those who are still struggling:1. Make a duplicate of the profile for MS Flight Simulator 2004. This disables the default, non-deletable profile. 2. Next, delete FS9 from the executeable associated with each of the two profiles (default and duplicate)3. Now, delete the profile you just made. The original profile will remain "DISABLED", and voila this insane mystery is now solved. Whew! January 28, 200818 yr noel,i just got my new rig up and running and had the same problem. i have a 8600 card. AA does work for me anyway. if you are going by what the preview window shows when you add AA you will NOT see any changes. i'm talking about the preview window in FS. you need to go into SPOT view to see the changes and not the preview window. try that and see if it's working. oh yea, be sure you have AA checked in FS9 also, it has to be on too. william
