Need Help From Hardware Guru's

Having some real problems and getting really frustrated. Was hoping someone here with some proven credability could assist.Have a HP Q6600 Quad core cpu with 3gb ram and a sub-par G8400GS video card. Platform is Vista 32. Video display is an LG 42" Hi-Def LCD television. The problem I have is anti-aliasing. I have used both the NVidia applet as well as NHancer in an attempt to anti-alias without success. Have installed a host of various drivers all with same or similar results. The anti-aliasing simply will not work. However, oddly enough, selecting anti-aliasing within FS9 does provide beautiful results. Unfortuntely, at a huge cost. The FPS, which is set to 30, will drop from an average 0f 27-29 to single digits. Even dropping below 5 at times with moderate 3D cloud coverage. Un-flyable to say the least. Now everything I've researched here and about other forums advises to turn off anti-aliasing in FS9 and set it in either NVidia or Nhancer. I do that and again, with different driver sets get the same result. No aliasing unless set within FS9.I have done everything I can think of to resolve this without success. I.E., check for duplicate video entries in CFG file, defragment, virus & spyware check, you name it.It is woth mentioning that when I select anti-aliasing in FS9, and during those periods of low single digit FPS's, it almost seems as if something is pulling the speed down. For instance, the FPS counter will render results similar to this: 10..10..2..8..9..2..3..10..3..9..10..2I'm perplexed and would entertain any assistance from any of the more knowledgeable folks here in this forum. It just seems to me that I should be able to obtain very high results with a rather beefy system in FS9 standards. Many thanks

Not exactly a guru but this is what worked for me.On my system (Win XP, E6750, 8600GT) I had to clear the "Enhance in-game AA setting" box in nHancer. This was greyed out with a check mark originally and I had no AA.Different hardware I realize but ...Fred

Might want to make sure you're editing the FS9 profile in Nhancer, and try using enhance in-game AA as previously mentioned."Let me help you out. You're cleared to taxi any way you can to any runway you see."
