January 15, 200323 yr I updated the BIOS on my ECS mobo from ver 2 to ver 2.2 Now it's screwed. I can't access the BIOS to make changes, when I start the computer the monitor won't turn on until the computer has booted up to the windows xp logon screen. And, now my computer will only recognise one network card. I've got two installed so I can access the internet from other computers on my network. And to top it off, the Monster Fusion card I've been using all this time in XP, stopped working, it says the drivers won't work in XP and I can't find XP drivers online. But, the card worked before I updated the BIOS. Any help or suggestions? Can I just download the previous BIOS and flash that? Thanks,Lobaeux
January 15, 200323 yr Yes you can...but when you flashed the BIOS to version 2.2, did you go through all the set-up menus and reset the values that you had whilst running 2.0?That might be part of the problem. If that doesn't work....you can flash back to your original if:a) you made a backup during the flashing/update precedure:( you can find that original .bin file on either the disks that came with your MOBO, or you can obtain that .bin file in the BIOS section of your MOBO's website.Cheers!Mitch
