Can someone simplify and list, step by step, the recommended defrag sequence using O&O Defrag after a fresh install of DSX including SP1/2? Thanks a lot...

SKIP setting up O&O in its settings properties because those settings wont do you any goodIf you installed your system with a Genuine Microsoft Windows SP2 disk that was produced after December of 2004, or, a slipstream copy produced after that date, you should be fine.If you used the web update to install SP2, or, this is an older Dell, dont do it

No, That is only if you are doing full maintenance defrag runsAfter a small update, and, if you are on XP with O&O v8.5, you can do a SPACE defrag and it should be fine till you have time to complete the full pass later.If you install a large add-on or make a major change I would SPACE, reboot, NAME defrag instead and then reboot again before booting the sim
