January 16, 200323 yr I notice that very tall radio towers which extend to around 2,000 ft agl do not display a red blinking light on top at night. An example of this may be found just north of Houston Southwest Airport (KAXH). Can some of you verify this and provide feedback. Is there any 3rd party utility that can provide the FS2002 radio towers such as these with white strobes instead of the single red light on top? Many thanks for your time and response!Gene LacyVRS (Virtual Skunk Retired)
January 16, 200323 yr I would assume that said radio tower is only that tall because of a scenery bug. In response to your second question, no. If you know anything about BGL code, i sould assume you could change the light, but BGL isn't for the faint of heart.
January 18, 200323 yr Thanks for the reply David.Actually, it is not uncommon to find many towers exceeding 2,000 ft agl. There are six of them just north of KAXH and three more to the southeast towards KGLS. I am referring to reality as well as in FS2002.Thanks for the programming tip, but I have been a little on the lazy side ever since my work on Fight Shop developement a few years back. Can anyone else confirm whether or not your red light blinks on top of these towers?!ThanksGene LacyVSR (Virtual Skunk Retired)
January 18, 200323 yr Author I, too, see no lights on these towers Gene.
