nLite and copying from source disk not working

I'm trying to slipsteam my copy of windows XP pro SP1, but I can't even copy the files to my hard drive. I know I've done it before, cause I slipstreamed the disk to SP2, but now I want an sp3 copy as well.I get an error when I try to copy from CD to HDD"Cannot copy file: Cannot read from source file or disk"thoughts? Never had problems in the past....
