OT: ACTIVEX ISSUE

Featured Replies

OK... i admit I do waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much tweaking, so I only have myself to blame...now, here' the problem. i have been trying to upload some digital photos to walgreens.com and or snapfish.com as I have routinely been doing for years...but, lately, I have not been able to get either website to accept anything. I suspect the problem may be xp rather than browser related because i have the same issue with either IE8 and Firefox 3. I've googled the issue looking for answers with no success so far...I'm hoping someone here has a solution. thanks...Sherm

Well, you've Googled and that would be my suggestion. Whenever I have a problem like yours I simply goto Google and type "how do I upload pictures to snapfish on my XP system" (without the quotation marks). Your subject indicates maybe you think this is an ActiveX issue? Highly unlikely. You may have to go to your browser Internet Options and return all settings to the default and see if that works. Some sites require Cookies to be turned on before it will do anything. You may also have to go and make adjustments to your Internet Firewall. Perhaps somehow you disallow a program like Snapfish to operate through your firewall. Lots of possibilities...Jim
