Racing pedals as rudder axis in fsx?

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried this before? I know it's fairly trivial to map different axes to the controls in fsx, but what I'm trying to do is as follows:Pushing down on the left pedal yaws the plane to the leftPushing down on the right pedal yaws the plane to the rightNot pushing either pedal keeps the yaw axis centeredThat is, effectively turn two axes into one differential axis. It seems like something that should be easy to do in software, I just haven't seen it done before.Any ideas?

Ch pro pedals can be used as racing pedals and they work just fine in that fashion for rudder control. Normally the brake and accelerator are not treated as two seperate axis. The brake and accelerator are usually one axis with the brake working one direction of the axis and the accelerator the other.
