HiI'm currently running FS9 on an Athlon XP system and would like to upgrade my system and go to FSX but funds are tight. I was thinking of the following system:Intel Core2 duo E7300 (probably will not be overclocking)P45 based motherboardGeForce 9600 GT 512 videocard2 G RAMWin XPWould this run FSX respectably? Or should I wait, save up and get something better? Any thoughts would be appreciated Thanks..

See if you can fit a 9800 card into you budget. The 9600 will work better in FS9, but I think FSX wants more. My 8800 gt works great, also. Get the fastest ram you can afford. 667 is the norm, but 800 or 1066 is better. Whatever you end up with, spend some time learning how it all works togrther. Than go fly. Good luck. Bob
