Well i finally found a place that maxes out my 9800GTX 512 meg card. Sanfransisco. Yep 418 ai planes in air video ram at 99%, system ram 1.72 gig used. So it seems if you fly in not so crowded airspace . ie sydney YSSY 512 meg card will do, but big busy places like Sanfransisco or newyork, then go for a 1 Gig card, might have to be my next expenditure. oh by the way rame rtaes at 12 to 18 but fairly smooth, considering how busy it was.

What utility do you use to measure VRAM utilization rates? I'm not aware of any consumer applications which do this, only professional ones. Namely, NVPerfHUD for Nvidia cards and PerfStudio for ATi cards.
