I just purchased the Palm One Tungsten T5 with the Palm OS5.Just thinking how great it would be if Flight Gear could be converted to run on a Palm? Any chance?????Thanks,Howard

Do OpenGL Applications work on your Palm Pilot?Does your Palm Pilot have a 3d GPU for 3d accerlation? If the answer is no, then how fast is the CPU on your Palm Pilot (perhaps software mode is possible)?

I don't think palm pilot hardware is quite to the point where it will be able to run FG. One thing you can do is download a moving map/gps type application for your palm pilot. FlightGear can send "fake" gps strings out the serial port and "trick" the palm pilot into thinking it's talking to a real gps. That would be one way to put your palm pilot to good use.Curt.

Whether one can see things properly on such a small viewing area is a question. :(
