Problem with FSrepaint

Featured Replies

Hi guys,Today I tried to view and repaint a model for FS9 in FSrepaint.Alltough the model ,the FokkerD7 by Rudolph Stark , appears in the Fs9 simulator correctly ,it cannot be viewed in FSrepaint. Please help me??RegardsLeen de Jager

If it takes a long time to load and then.. it fails.. it generally means the model is too large in mbs to be rendered. I'm pretty sure theres nothing you can do about this. Maybe try a few times over and over to load it, that sometimes works.

Thanks for the feedback Morgan,The model however is a very simple and tiny one.It has few polygons and only 14Mb texture files.http://www.fsdome.com/cgi-bin/download.pl?...ep/dviipink.zipPlease give it a try to view it yourself.Maybe it`s a good idea to spend some words on this phenomenum in your tutorial. It`s a mistery to me.RegardsLeen de Jager

Hmm, the symptoms of it being too large to open is whilst in the loading progress. The box will display with the progress bar.. and it'll take a long time then fail. This one isn't even opening. I had a look at the aircraft.cfg and there appears to be a lot less than other aircraft.cfgs.. maybe that has something to do with it. Sorry, I'm stumped on this one!
