January 17, 200620 yr Except I cannot locate the BMP. Where are these usually stored?I've looked in the planes texture folders and can't find anything. Is there a default somewhere within FS9? Specifically, I'm trying to change some features on the freeware beechcraft starship. There is definately an interior as i pan around the plane.Thanks.
January 17, 200620 yr The texture file will be in the "texture" folder within the aircraft folder. Open the bmps inside DXTBmp (if you can't view them through the default windows viewer).. you should it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
January 17, 200620 yr That's the first place I looked but couldn't find it. I do have DXT and opened up every texture. That's why I was wondering if it could be in another location and is pathed there in the aircraft's config.Hmm, I'll keep digging.
January 17, 200620 yr I doubt it'd be in a folder else where, have you got a link for it so I can check it out? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
January 17, 200620 yr Sometimes the pilot is textured in the model, in that case, you just have to go with what the deveolper put in there.
January 18, 200620 yr I believe that the pilot textures are in a separate folder off the main FS9 folder... Check out the various texture folders. I'm not at home so I can't check it out for you. It's the same as some of the default propeller textures.Felix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design
January 19, 200620 yr Sometimes the pilot figure is in with other textures, for instance the default Baron pilot is with the external textures. You just have to look closely. Which Starship is this?Bud
