October 3, 200619 yr I need to begin repainting the standard FSX aircraft. How can I deal with the different textures in there?. I know there is a dynamic reflection texture and that it uses the DDS format, but I don't want to just import old FS2004 aircraft in there, because it will loose dynamic reflection abilities. How can I paint the reflection texture, is it a special photoshop filter that I need to apply? brightness or contrast settings, etc.?Am I making any sense?I have plenty of repaint experience for fs2002 and 2004, btw.
October 4, 200619 yr Well, I can see I'm not making any sense. I talk about the "Specular" file. How do I create it from the main texture file?
October 4, 200619 yr I would have thought it'd be better to wait for the SDK, in it will explain how the new texture files work. In short.. I'm not entirely sure what it does.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
November 2, 200619 yr Yeah, I can't find anything in the SDK on aircraft modeling and textures, other than GMaxThomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180 Tom Perry
