August 29, 200817 yr Hi all,I have been on AVSIM and downloaded a FSP AI aircraft with Jet2.com textures by a Thomas Eisenbach. Please ... bare with me and read on ... Yet this guy must be a complete retard because his night textures show a US Airways livery on top of a jet2.com livery (see screenshot below). I have emailed him and asked for the night textures but that was a month ago.I took it upon myself to try and create them myself without any look at all.Is there anyone out there who would be kind enough to do me a night texture (preferably a global one which could be used on other liveries)? If so please reply and if you could send it via email it would be much appreciated (I will provide via PM).The file is found below:http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...=root&Go=SearchThank you in advance.Screen shot of issues:
August 30, 200817 yr just remove the lighting textures. you won't have any lit up fuse then but you won't see the other texture either.and if you emailed the painter and referred to him as a "complete retard", i don't blame him for not replying to you.
August 30, 200817 yr Instead of calling someone a retard, wich I never do , it would be more gentle to to determine what the cause of the glitch is and tell (or ask) the maker to correct the texture.Whell as I said I do not call peoples names but I do know whats wrong.Simply explained the L file does not fit the T file.In fact they belong to two different planes.I superimposed them in Paintshop and here you can see what causing the strange windows.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/191931.jpg
August 30, 200817 yr Well I'm sorry guys but it is a inconvenience to me and others who download that work. Then to search for a fix and not find one. And download all his other paints of the same model to find he has used the same light textures everywhere is a little annoying. I need these light textures so have decided to use a different model unless a kind person is willing to paint a new light texture for me (and release on avsim as a fix so other people can make use of it as well). And as a painter myself I always test my work before release and I'm sure others do too.Idea: Is the a WOAI package which uses the FSP B733 model? I may be able to find a fix in one of those.PS: I didn't call him a retard in the email I sent.
August 30, 200817 yr The fact you did not call him a retard in your mail , does not wipe out the fact, you insulted him on this forum.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> took it upon myself to try and create them myself without any look at all.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< you wroteIn your latest post you wrote>>>>>>>>>>as a painter myself I always test my work before release and I'm sure others do too.<<<<<<<<<<<<
August 30, 200817 yr as i said before, just pull the faulty light textures from the texture folder. you won't have any of the hi-lited parts, but , that's life.
August 31, 200817 yr Hi all.Fixed it myself today. Took me 6 hours as first time doing night textures.I made it a global texture and have uploaded it to AVSIM under the title ' Night Texture Fix for FSPainters B737-300'.Just in case you wish to use ti for yourself. Thanks again all. Pete.
September 1, 200817 yr Today I downloaded the nightfile.I must say I looks great. In my reaction above I stated, you are not a painter, now I was surprised by this phenomenal lightfile. To be frank , I became very doubtfull .You said you made the file yourself and it took 6 hours to do.Well........ehhThe screenshots you made yesterday.31-08-2008The lightfile file you must have made years ago.09-05-2006You just forgot to save it once , to get the fildate "updated"So, not being a good painter is not your only problem. You`ll have to learn about filedates as well. And try some honesty if you please. You are not "aniceguy" I said before.I think I stick to that for a while.Leen de Jagerhttp://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...aia&DLID=127158Have a peep with ZipDive and you`ll see, what I saw.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/192008.jpgPSThere might be an explanation. You could have made the L file on another PC wich has its time and date incorrect.:-lol I that case, sorry. On the other hand who would beleve that?:-hmmm
September 1, 200817 yr That I cannot explain but I did do it myself. It took me 6 hours to do it using PSP.First took the daylight texture file. Duplicated the layer and set opacity to 30%. Set a black background (new layer). Then used magic wand to select all the windows (this took time). Copied & pasted them to the black layer. Used the daylight layer as a guide for producing the lights and tail light (again this took time to position). Then once where I was happy I simply copied these across onto the black layer. Deleted all other layers which were not needed. Created the alpha channel and saved it.This is what I did. No excuses for the date as I can't explain that.No more responses from myself. I am a nice guy - Just annoyed that someone didn't upload their work when it was not tested.

Just downloaded it and I uploaded the original night texture file. So my fault on this one. Have re-uploaded the correct file which have doubled checked this morning and date should now ready 1st 9 / 08 :)I take back what I said about the original author. My apologies to him. I am just annoyed for the inconvenience this has caused me.
September 1, 200817 yr Well, the file I downloaded was more than two years old.You did not make that one. When it was the original , there is no reason to rework it , because it is perfect already.I think I am not going to buy this story. The file you uploaded now will probably be the same file just with another date.It means you learned how to redate files. The fact wich made me interested in the file was its fantastic quality. That simply had not possibly have been done by you.First saying you tried to make the lightfile and did no succeed. And then after six hours a real masterpiece. It had nothing to with the date.It made me suspicious and then the date came in sight. The original L file from the download you started this topic with is dated 15th august 2005 so it strange to ,....whell.........you know. The file you said you uploaded by mistake was from the 9th of May 2006.Please stop this nonsense.Leen de Jagerwhen I have downloaded your "genuine" one I`ll check it.I hope that one is OK and genuine , not just redated..Of not , you`ll have a problem I am afraid.
September 1, 200817 yr OK people some facts.I downloaded Peters NEW selfmade L-file.Sorry to say , Peter is exactly as unfair as I suspected him to be.He just openend and saved the file and uploaded it again.( as I predicted he would do!!!!)Both files have exactly the same texture, there is not a single pixel having another place.Being a very experienced painter myself , I can tell for sure. And plagiarism is a thing I can`t stand. In one of his previous posts on this topic, Peter told us how he "made" the L file.AND he told us he made an alpha-layer.A funny fact is , the second one he uploaded claiming "his" does not contain any alpha layer.Saving the file in order to misguide us with the filedate he lost the alpha layer. Now we know enough of Peter. He`s even bad at plagiarism.Peter published about thirteen files at Avsim in less than two months.I wonder?Leen de JagerThis is the one he claims to have done totally by himself.(latest upload)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/192020.jpgThis one was the one I assumed it was not made by him. This one he uploaded by accident he said.As you all can see , the only difference is the missing alpha.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/192021.jpg
September 1, 200817 yr Editing time was over , nevertheles I want to add this.Overyone who has the skills like me ( must be thousands) can verify the things I am saying by downloading and exploring the files.Wich only can be done when the initial upload is NOT removed.( I hope it stays there for a while)I`ll keep one on my server anyway.I hope the real painter is among them. And Peter , ask the Avsim management to delete your account , this topic and all your files at Avsim, before that happens.Start growing tomatoes.Leen de Jager.
September 1, 200817 yr I ain't going to dignify your lies with a response. You can make me out to be a 'thief' of other peoples work if you like. I know I made that file myself. Maybe next time I should take print screen shots ... or even better still upload a 6 hour video just to prove to you that I am capable of doing this myself.I stand by what I have said. If they wish to delete my account they can do. I have done nothing wrong.Any other peoples work I use I ALWAYS ask permission before releasing it. I also FULLY CREDIT THEM within all documentation that I produce.I've told you the steps I took to create the file. The reason for the dates is due to FS Repaint. At least this is what I have found using my version along side PSP.Upon taking the original file from the ORIGINAL download paint by Thomas. I loaded the daylight and well you know the rest from above. This is no story. This is just ganging up on me to make me out to be some sort of evil person. My work that I produce is said to be AND I QUOTE 'is exemplary'. Out of the 3000 email responses I have had from users of my work I can say they believe in what I do. I'm not leaving any more repsonses as this is going to far.
September 1, 200817 yr You are not disappointing me, again. This is exactly the response I expected and hoped for.For me the discussion stops here , I do not want to waiste more time on this issue.Everybody who knows how to and wants to check it out for himself can do this. In fact , just reading this topic makes all things clear.Or download fsp733dlh.zip ( Avsim Lib.) dated 8th of may 2006 and find the same file with identical textures in it.I always go for facts.Leen de JagerPSWater IS wet , no need to proof that.
