January 21, 200323 yr Hi all,I'm getting the dreaded "3rd party" error when I select Oleksiy's Dash-8 version 1.003. It refers to dash8all.gau and repeats about 50 times before loading the sim from "create a flight". I then experience the same in-game. I've got fsuipc ver. 2.95 so I've kind of ruled that out.Might anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance,Glenn CampbellWindsor, CANADA
January 21, 200323 yr Author The gauge will only recognise the folder name the aircraft shipped with; so if you've changed this (you have, haven't you, you naughty boy) you'll get the problem you describe. The folder name should be Dash8-Q300_2Let us know if this solves your difficulties.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo2.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
January 21, 200323 yr Nooo...nooo...nooo, Markie! I've left well enough alone on the folder name. In fact, on my second attempt to install I cut and pasted the folder from a temporary download folder directly to ->aircraft.Thanks for the quick reply but no joy I fear.Cheers,Glenn
January 21, 200323 yr RTFM, I believe is the proper "a la mode" for my slice of humble pie. From the installation.html:"4. If NOT using windows XP as your operating system, place the included gdiplus.dll into your main fs2k2 folder."Sounds like a CIA interrogation..."Did you NOT kill a man in Da Trang province in 1968?"Problem solved and thanks for your reply Mark.Cheers,Glenn
January 22, 200323 yr Author LOL, glad you're sorted, Glenn. Now enjoy one of the finest aircraft in flightsim!Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
