This may sound petty, but is there a default flag that I can set that allows the external spot view to have the GRADUAL TRANSITIONS disabled and TYPE set to Fixed?ThanksKevin

Open your default flight, change the view settings for SPOT view. Save the flight as the default, over-write it. Then, go fly.
