I followed the process listed in the thread, I was able to get the HSI & ADI working but having issues with the click spots. Not feeling too bad it was only $10. I would like to see a a developer produce an up to date, P3 compatible 767-300 and would really like to see the -400 with the new flight deck.

I just purchased during the sale and 'installed" into FSX, then copied into P3Dv3, making the dll.xml changes. The problem I am having is that there is no display in the ADI and HSI. Any thoughts? Kevin

Aerosoft has released the installers for 318/319/320/321 After installation I went to setup Immersion and I get the error message Please install at least 1 of the Aerosoft Airbus Family (A318, A319, A320, A321) before launching the installer. I've given up on FSX after I made the P3D move. I'm hoping that there is an update in the works somewhere. Kevin

Aerosoft has posted a list of compatible P3dV3 addons. Before installing read Mathijs Kok's release notes It seems to have installed with out issue, just waiting to see how it looks. Kevin

First off thanks for publishing and I'm loving the new SOP choices! I do have a crazy question though, I would like to assign a GoFlight button to activate the hard mute (which I can do mapped the keystroke to the button) and assign the LED above this button when HM is enabled (which I cannot). Does this just read the ALTERNATE STATIC SOURCE OPEN simconnect value of 0/1? Also is there a var that can emulate the Pre-flight button press on the fmc as well as the approach and departure briefs? Again make the LED extinguish once these have been completed? Thanks Kevin

I like to run FS2C in an undocked window. Last evening I had a flight from EWR to RSW , I moved the undocked main panel over to the FS screen and went to re-dock, it immediately disappeared and my mouse cursor changed from the usual pointer icon to the round spinning circle. I was unable to re-evoke the main panel and it was no where to be found. The mouse cursor spun the rest of the flight and my frame rates went from the upper 20's down to the low teens. This happened when I called for the Descent Checklist. After the main panel disappeared I was able to issue commands which were being interpreted (the appeared in the green info bar) but the 'FO' didn't complete any actions. It's almost like FS2Crew threw an exception or crashed. I checked for applications and processes in the Windows Task Manager with the hopes of killing the process but no joy. I didn't want to kill FSX as I was 2.5 hours into a 3 hour flight. Luckily I was able to bring it in unassisted - albeit with very low frame rates and stutters. PC wise I have a fairly stodgy system as (i-7 4790 16 RAM, nVidia 980 4 RAM) so this stuttering was unusual. Any thoughts? Attribute to an anomaly, so just chalk it up and see if it happens again? I agree that adding shadows entirely alters the sim, it gives more of a sense of relative motion. Kevin

I too have been on the fence about this decision and it's getting more difficult. I recently rebuilt my PC, re-installed FSX but moved to DX10 using Steve's DX10 Fixer. WOW is what I can say about the graphics and with the clean install I really haven't encountered (yet) any system instability or run up to VAS limitations. I do have a toe in the water so to speak. I did purchase a license for PMDG's 777 but haven't pulled the trigger on P3D. The transformation gets expen$ive when you look at re-acquiring PMDG and A2A payware inaddition to the $200 outlay for P3D. I initially thinking on upgrading to 3 x 28" monitors with a Volair sim setup. I know I will, it's just a matter of time, but for now I'm content with FSX. Kevin

I'm wondering if I need to uninstall then re-install. I d/l'd the NGX from PMDG, ran the installer using Repair, when I check the FMC I still show 1.0 SP1c. OpsCenter show 1.10.6436 and states I am up to date. Another thing I find strange is the OpsCenter shows the 600/700 installed version as 1.10.6436 Available version 1.00.3219? Kevin

I had a similar rig setup, 2600k @4.5 with the gtx580 and upgraded to the gtx770. Not a whole lot of increase in FPS but I did notice an improvement in the quality. For me, the primary reason for the upgrade was to run FSX in Surround mode. With the 770 I can run fsx on 3 monitors without much (if any) performance hit. Kevin

I fly out of ROC, and I've seen his 900. Back in May I was at hanger talk given by one of the pilots who the ferry flight of it from Tarbes to ROC. That plane seem absolutely incredible. Glazer was a big part of the downtown area here; his properties include the Xerox, Bausch & Lomb towers and the new MidTown build being constructed. Sad day for aviation when any aviator is lost. I'm still using a 2600K OC'd to 4.2. Funny thing is I am OK with it, cant bring my self to spend the $$$ to upgrade when I am satisfied with what I have. Kevin

I too have my private certificate and I run 3x24" monitors in surround mode using EZDoc and TrackIR. It is much more realistic when you can look left and spot mid-field when on the down wing leg. My 2¢ worth. Kevin.
