August 5, 201312 yr just a heads up for all you Captain Sim lovers    I used the migration tool and both planes work great. The only thing to remember is to run P3D in Legacy mode and to add this(copy and paste) into the DLL.xml file: <Launch.Addon> <Name>Captain Sim 777 Sound</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>Captain_Sim\777\cs.sound.dll</Path></Launch.Addon>
November 1, 201312 yr Would that explain why I have no wheels and the sim will crash within 15 seconds after starting it up?
January 16, 201610 yr I just purchased during the sale and 'installed" into FSX, then copied into P3Dv3, making the dll.xml changes. The problem I am having is that there is no display in the ADI and HSI. Any thoughts? Kevin -.- . ...- .. -. January 16, 201610 yr The P3D version is better - if your running P3D its advisable to get that version - I tried both fsx version was not suited for P3D - especially fps and some other things not working properly Rich Sennett
January 16, 201610 yr The 767 has no P3D version but still works great in P3D. See here for more details how to "install" it in P3D: http://www.captainsim.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1368552973 [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE
January 16, 201610 yr Commercial Member That is ok but if you change the P3D .dll ASN will prompt an error stating that the .dll is corrupt and then will close. I want to make the 707 work in P3D and have tried all the methods but still if I open it in P3D I can watch the frame rates go from 30 to 5 in a short time without even touching anything or moving my view. It is as if the 707 creates a memory leak in P3d. Note to Capt. Sim - please put out a P3d version of your amazing 707. See here for more details how to "install" it in P3D: http://www.captainsim.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1368552973 I followed the process listed in the thread, I was able to get the HSI & ADI working but having issues with the click spots. Not feeling too bad it was only $10. I would like to see a a developer produce an up to date, P3 compatible 767-300 and would really like to see the -400 with the new flight deck. -.- . ...- .. -. January 16, 201610 yr Would that explain why I have no wheels and the sim will crash within 15 seconds after starting it up? Install the ESP simconnect in the redist directory. That is the Microsoft ESP simconnect. It needs to be there with the FSX Simmconnect How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
