AI TRAFFIC - ADDING AIRPORTS TO AIRPORT.TXT FILE

Featured Replies

Dear friends,Can you tell me how I can add an airport to the airport.txt file that comes in Lee Swordy's TT Tools. Is there any freeware program available? Thanks.Dr. Jinesh ThomasResident in Internal MedicineGauhati Medical CollegeINDIA.

Dr. Thomas. You can start the flight sim, go to the airport that you wish to add, get the long/lat co-ordinates and type it in manually...OR...You can find a complete list of all the airports in the flight sim in the download section at www.projectai.comThis way is MUCH easier.KJhttp://forums.projectai.com/dcboard.cgi?az...b470814a70a.gif

The easiest thing to do is to go www.projectai.com and under "Unofficial Downloads" click on "Utilities". Then, look for the file called "AIRPORT-TXT.zip" and download it. This file contains all the airports you would ever need for AI flight plans.

The latest T Tools distribution includes a programCollectAirports.exe which will put all airportsin FS2k2 into airports.txt. Then just edit to addany overlay airports.scott s..

Thanks very much everybody for your replies. That fixes all the missing airports. Once again, thank you all very much.Dr. Jinesh ThomasResident in Internal MedicineGauhati Medical CollegeINDIA.
