Recommended Posts

Hi.I found something strange. Tested with AIRAC 0503&0506.If I enter manuali route below:LDZA/LDSPLDZARUDIKSIRMILDSPAnd try to choose DEPARTURE, I will get real rwy numbers 05 and 23.BUT If I save this route (LDZA->RUDIK->SIRMI->LDSP), and perform FMGC Reset and then LOAD ROUTE, If I try to choose SID I will get wrong rwy number 09 and 27.Could somebody try and verify.ThanksEdin

Hi Edin,I also got this at EGLL. I had a saved route that I loaded and I got some random nubers for my airports. If I enter the route manually then I get the correct rwy numbers.I thought this might have something to do with the BAV OSP or FSBuild which I use to convert my plans to PSS flightplan (.afp) files, did you use either of these?

I am beginning to think there is a mismatch between the BAV OSP and the PSS MCDU. I've just entered a new flight of EGSS to LPAZ (flight BA3147). Entering the runways at Stansted EGSS gave me 23 and 05 as one would expect. Using the BAV OSP and exporting the flight plan to the PSS MCDU gave runways 20 and 31 which is not correct. Taking the preferred flight plan from the BAV OSP and putting it through FSBuild and then exporting the flight plan to the PSS MCDU gave the correct runways of 23 and 05.So exporting direct from the BAV OSP to the PSS MCDU would appear to be the problem. But I don't know if the original poster is a member of BAV or not, so although the OSP appears to have a problem it might not be the problem he faces.
