ANOTHER DC-10 To Mojave!!

Featured Replies

Very sad day the other Day! I heard on my scanner that a Hawaiian Air DC-10 was being flown to Mohjave for i hope not it's final resting Place! Does anyone have any Info on Which Reg# it was?? Or a Web site out there that Lists the Airlines Reg#'s of which planes are in Service or stored for thier Airline?? I really want to try and Find out Which DC-10 they sent out there! As I think Hawaiian Still has maybe like 3-4 DC-10's Left, Which most are used for CHarter Flight's To VEGAS and Anchorage! So If anyone has a usefull web site that has this Info, I would really Apprecite the info, As i have flown on HAwaiian DC-10's many times, and want to know if this is the one i flew on that they sent to the Desert!-:( LONG LIVE THE TRI-JETS!!!!!!!MIKE-:)

The UK magazine 'Airliner World' (www.airlinerworld.com) has just begun running a monthly information page regarding the transfer of airliners and new deliveries, so the information may appear in next month's issue. I checked Feb's listings and it only has mention of Hawaiian Airlines receiving a new B767-3CBER - Registered N588HA s/n 33466, on 24 October last. Perhaps this is your DC-10 replacement? You could also try looking in, or writing to, the US mags 'Airliners' and 'Airways' both of which have a readers query page, I think. Checking www.airliners.net might turn something up also. So there's your assignment for today LOL!Hope this helps a bit, and by the way, the L-1011 is better than the DC-10, so there! And the Boeing 727 and 707 are better than both of them, I know the 707 isn't a tri-jet, but it is if you include that BOAC one that the engine separated from over Heathrow many moons ago LOL!

Thank's for the Help guy's! But N588HA has been around for a while now, the most recent HA 767-300ER delivery was like a week and a Half ago, thats why they just sent a DC-10 to MOJAVE! DOn't know the new Reg# on the 767-300 yet?? Guess i half to keep looking! Where at i dunno, maybe i will try and check out those magazines in the stores for some updated info! Thank's MIKE-:)
