Online flying....?!

Featured Replies

Hi guys....Been VATSIm flying for some time now and find it opens a completely new dimension of FS2002 up....However, could someone please tell me the answer to the following...When I'm on the ground at an airport, I only see replicas of me (same type and airline) or all other traffic....Is it possible somehow to have different online flying aircraft displayed on screen or am I limited to seeing little mini-me's !!Thanks for the advice

Its all a question of luck and Common Shape Libraries :-) When you down loaded SB there should have been included a 'CSL' file and instructions how to instal it. It is these CSL files that recreate aircarft shapes and liveries. It is some years since I last installed SB so this is from memory.A CSL.ICAO.csv file goes into your SB folderA csl aircarft.zip file is unzipped into FS2002 folder using the 'use foldernames' option when unzipping. For the latest CSL files go tohttp://homepages.paradise.net.nz/seang1/csl/index.htmlThere is also an improved type of csl file being developed by another group.http://juntakahashi.nttverio.jp/vip3web/HTH
