BOBBING ? - Try this ....

All,If you're experiancing some bobbing in the cruise (as I think quite a few are) and you want to avoid this, then there's little you can do once you're in a cruise (if you descent I find it still bobs)But....Next flight, choose a lower cruise level for your flight - Ok, so it's more realistic to cruise over the Atlantic in a 777 at FL390 but I have found that flying with a MEDIUM load and a cruise level of FL260 or below gives NO bobbing :-)....and you get a better view of Bermuda ;-)David

FL260 over atlantic is not what 777s are designed to do. Plus that shifts all the fuel burn and range calcs. The problem sounds like what the A330 had. Its behaviors & performance got very unrealistic in high altitude. And it finally fell out of the sky without any possible recoveries. Jason
