john,put your mouse curser on the scratchpad of the fmc,thats the bottom of the screen where data is displayed,left click the mouse button and you should get kb flashing if thats what your wanting to do ie input data from your keyboard,to stop it just do the same again.ps works with the T7 aswell steve :-cool

I can't get the scroll lock to work with the cdu in the 757. I push it like the manual says, but I don't get the <> in the display window and I can't use the keyboard to enter data in the scratch pad. I haven't tried the T7 yet.
