February 10, 200323 yr It is the obvious fact that default weather stinks on a visual basis. Any good *free* improvments I could make for FS2002?-Matt
February 10, 200323 yr Hi, Real pilot myself and saw all kind of clouds type in the world, I recommend fs sky world se available here: http://fsw.simflight.com/FSkySe.htmlThe default fs2002 clouds are not realistic!Eric
February 10, 200323 yr Eric, thanks for that suggestion. As soon as I finished wiping the drool from my keyboard, I'll download it. Thanks,-Matt
February 10, 200323 yr There are free (demo?) versions of both FSMeteo and ActiveSky. I'm not sure what features are limited compared to the payware versions.Never mind, missed the "visual" part of your question. :) I use and recommend FS Sky World as well.
February 10, 200323 yr Commercial Member I highly recommend the ActiveSky wxRE and FSSWSE clouds combo - it looks great! Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
February 10, 200323 yr Author Commercial Member I use FS Sky World SE but also Weather Maker Personal Edition - Build 1.2. It's a neat little freeware utility that can simulate passing warm and cold fronts with the associated wind fields and cloud layers.Cheers, Holger
