FSUIPC (and the Duenna)

Does this new version of FSUIPC fix the Duenna issues with FSX? Specifically, I find that the Duenna always says the realism and Weather settings are invalid even though I have them set correctly. Also, the Duenna ALWAYS reports an Overspeed at Time 0.0.--Mike

Duenna reads realism and weather settings from the FS9.cfg or FSX.cfg file. Those are written into the file only when FS is closed down normally. The beta new/ FSX version has recorded FS2002, FS2004 and FSX settings correctly on my systems. Also, the Duenna ALWAYS reports an Overspeed at Time 0.0.Yes - that is what we want - to verify no overspeed occured. The reading is not that an overspeed occured - but that the cumulative total time of overspeed during the flight was 0.0 seconds.Note that overspeed in and of itself does not make a flight invalid. It has two functions - the first is a warning to the pilot.Normally you can get away with 60 seconds total of minor overspeed before the aircraft will overstress and crash.Overspeed up to 60 seconds gives the pilot a warning of how close he is to a crash. An overspeed of more than 60 seconds might be an indication that the realism settings are off, or the aircraft flight dynamics are significantly unrealistic.
