VOXATC-X: NO SID-STAR CLEARANCE ISSUED

Featured Replies

I have been unable to get a SID clearance from clearance delivery or an enroute STAR clearance. I have tried both the SID-STAR utility and wizard. When I get my departure clearance I just recieve the usual "cleared as filed" message. I also tried the included IFR demo flight with the same results. There is a user processes folder with the flight plan files in it for the demo flight and my added flight. If anyone has an idea on how to fix this I would appreciate the help. I have emailed VOXATC about the issue. Also has anyone been able to purchase the download from rcsim. When I click on their link I am directed back to the VOXATC website? Happy flying.

This is from the FSX FAQ's on the website.A SID or STAR are not being assigned although they are defined for a flightBefore loading a flight with a SID or a STAR, load a different flight. When that flight has loaded, load the flight with SID and/or STAR. This is because MSFS makes a copy of the relevent files for the last flight you made. If you reload that flight it will load the copy and the association between the flight name and the defind SIDs and STARs will be lost. If you load another flight first this does not happen.Use the above workaround for the moment.
