June 23, 200718 yr First of all I want to say that I am very happy with VOXATC because it makes flying a sim a lot more realistic and beside of that the technical support of Tegwyn is excellent.However, I am also more and more active as a VATSIM pilot so I found a few obstacles working with VOXATC in IFR mode instead of VATSIM and the default FSX ATC and was wondering which one is correct due to IFR Clearances.In my opinion you have to get your IFR clearance at the Parking/Gate before pushback with the departure route and transponder code. In Voxatc however the clearance is coming just before arriving at the holding point of the runway. This is a bit frustrating because it is most of the time the moment to do the
June 24, 200718 yr Author The Clearance question occurs only when flying from smaller airports with no seperate Clearance freq. but direct with Ground Freq.Tonight I made a flight from Hannover and there is a Clearance Freq. and it works ok... Getting clearance and transponder code before contacting Ground for the Pushback etc.From Stuttgart however the problem occurs as I mentioned in my original topic.Cheers...
