February 12, 200323 yr It looks like to me that the next upcoming version of FS use the same kind of CFS3 cloud engines and texture?I think it looks great. I love flying at a high altitude (33K to 35K on MD-80) and seeing CB clouds far in the horizon and try to fly toward to it would make it soo realistic just like FS98!Brian
February 12, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi, The most important is the weather engine capability not the texture clouds, in cfs3 clouds looks some too much white but they are great at the same time."I'd rather doubt it since MicroSoft did not make CFS3"Couple of fs team did works in cfs3. They are very very similar if not the same, the sun is the same as cfs3 so i will not surprise the clouds are the same.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs Kind RegardsChris Willis
February 12, 200323 yr Chris; I was wondering what the Aces Studio thing was all about. Do you know if that's a part of Microsoft or an outsourced developer? Here's a thread where they're still debating the issue. http://www.netwings.org/dcforum/DCForumID27/2951.html#6
